I've always been skeptical of hypnosis and whatnot, but after hearing your explanation, I figured I'd dive right in and try it out. Those 25 minutes passed like 5, and I was pleasantly surprised with the effect. Doesn't really compare to cannabis, or a Salvia afterglow, but it's very interesting considering it's sound-induced. I'll be listening to this daily for the next week or so, to see just how far down I can go. I was referred here by your youtube video. If your tinnitus is caused by something in your cochlea, which I think it generally is, then to your brain it would be just like hearing the tone from the headphones, so I guess there could be a potential for the binaural beats to be using tones at frequencies that would interact with your tinnitic tones, but I kind of doubt the likelihood of that - you'll have to experiment.
